This program is specifically designed to help young athletes reduce their risk of ACL tears and other lower extremity injuries by providing preventative training to promote a safe, optimal sports experience.
Knee injuries, particularly to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), are the most common form of severe sports injury in young athletes. The SST – Smart Sports Training Program is designed for High School athletes who may or may not have movement compensation patterns that put them at greater risk for a lower extremity injury.
This program will incorporate evidence-based testing and training protocols and typically include a dynamic warm-up, agility, resistance, and plyometric training.
