Bachelor’s degree in recreational and sports management from SUNY Delhi. American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) and Commercial Pool Operator (CPO).

I have taught a variety of skill levels and different ages, from beginners to competitive swimmers, from toddlers to adults. I have also worked with children and adults with special needs.

I have lifeguarded and taught swim lessons at pools and waterfronts all over New York, Virginia, and Hawaii!
Why did you go into Aquatics instruction?
The camp I grew up going to over my summer breaks needed lifeguards, so I took a lifeguard class one weekend and have stuck with aquatics ever since! My college was looking for swim instructors, so I stepped up and helped out and fell in love with teaching kids and adults how to swim or learn to perfect their strokes!
